'Creeler's Cottage' : a collaboration between Cave Collective and Vine Box, at February 17th's Rhythm Machine

We gave you milk and salt and warm rags to protect you from the evening, and the smell of the sea was strong in the room with sand and spilt drinks on the floor.

Ross Devlin and Euan Cowie collaborated to bring a stupendous 4-hour performance of ambient music, using samples from the School of Celtic Studies' archive, among many others.

Clive, June, and Mariola made a performance of folk song, experimental dance, and eerie samples of split and creaking yew.

the ECA choir wowed us all with their rendition of Lowlands among other songs.

we presented a live Ceilidh band to round off the evening and whirled and slapped the seaweed wands

poetry was written and performed by Laura Lynes, Rachel Wolfe and myself. There were some others who got up and read but I didn't know them

the set and costumes were brought to you by Connie Hurley and myself as Cave Collective.

Thanks for eating our ginger biscuits and writing us a poem or two.
